## Betway Backs South Africa’s Emerging Cricket Competition
International online wagering powerhouse, Betway, has teamed up with Cricket South Africa and Cricket West Indies as the title sponsor for the first-ever SA20. This fresh T20 cricket league is poised to burst onto the South African scene in early 2023. The agreement includes Betway ambassador and former England standout Kevin Pietersen, who will provide his knowledge and analysis via regular contributions to Betway Insider. The competition has lofty aspirations, seeking to become the premier cricket league outside of India and motivate a new wave of athletes and enthusiasts.
The excitement begins on January 10th, 2023, with 33 matches slated across six major South African cities: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, and Paarl.

A half-dozen squads will be vying for the championship in this competition: the Durban Super Giants, Johannesburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and the Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
