The renowned slot game, Buffalo, has been introduced to the Ontario online casino market by BetMGM. This addition enhances BetMGM’s already substantial library of over 2,500 games, with 250 developed internally.
Initially a success in brick-and-mortar casinos, Buffalo has been skillfully transitioned for digital play by Anaxi, the online gaming branch of Aristocrat. The game boasts 20 paylines and the traditional 5×4 grid structure, where players seek to align those famous buffalo symbols for significant payouts.
“Buffalo is a player favorite, recognized for its captivating wildlife theme and the signature ‘Buffalo!’ exclamations that resonate across casino floors,” stated Angus Nisbet, VP of Gaming at BetMGM. “Anaxi has done an exceptional job translating this land-based icon to the realm of iGaming. BetMGM is delighted to provide our players with a game as grand as Buffalo.”
This release is a component of a strategic collaboration between BetMGM and Anaxi initiated in February 2023, leading to a consistent influx of fresh and engaging games being incorporated into BetMGM’s platform.
It’s noteworthy that BetMGM held the distinction of being the first online casino globally to feature Buffalo, initially introducing it in Pennsylvania and subsequently in Michigan. Since its premiere, Buffalo has consistently secured a position among BetMGM’s top ten highest-earning slot games.
At the start of 2024, BetMGM established a partnership with Charlotte Motor Speedway.
MGM Resorts International and Wynn Resorts are joining forces to introduce digital sports wagering in North Carolina. This partnership coincides with the state’s preparations to legalize sports betting, marking a significant development for MGM Resorts International, particularly given their recent success in the United Kingdom. Their platforms for sports wagering and casino games have been consistently ranked among the highest across the pond, indicating a strong entry into this new market. In other news, Nesbitt, a prominent executive at MGM Resorts International, recently participated in an exclusive interview with Gaming America.
