Mary Javier has been named the new leader of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation, taking on the roles of President and Chief Executive Officer.

Javier, who has been with the Lottery for 16 years, previously served as Chief Legal Counsel, Senior Vice President, and Corporate Secretary. She is the first woman to hold the top position at the Kentucky Lottery.

Javier succeeds Tom Delacenserie, who stepped down from the leadership role in March after three years.

“I am incredibly thankful to Governor Beshear and the Board for selecting me to be the next leader of the Kentucky Lottery,” Javier stated. “I am honored to be chosen.”

“I am very proud to be part of this exceptional team,” she added, highlighting the Lottery’s record-breaking sales and contributions to the state government during the past fiscal year.
