Vermantia and Lottomatica have joined forces to provide content management services for Italian retailers.
Vermantia has secured a retail content management deal with Lottomatica, an Italian gaming company and part of the IGT Group.
Under the terms of the agreement, Lottomatica will transfer its retail content management to the “Vermantia Retail” broadcasting platform, while Vermantia’s point-of-sale technology will be installed in its betting shops nationwide.
Lottomatica will also gain access to the “Vermantia Connect” content library, focusing on live sports and virtual gaming offerings.
With the initial launch, Vermantia will broadcast and manage three custom game channels for Lottomatica’s retail network – a live sports channel provided in collaboration with the Perform Group and two virtual sports channels as part of a partnership with Inspired Gaming.
“This collaboration will not only aid Lottomatica’s objective of expanding its retail live betting services, but will also pave the way for the development of a novel and innovative retail betting concept,” stated Ludovico Calvi, Chief Executive Officer of Lottomatica Scommesse.
Vermantias chief executive, Filippos Antonopoulos, stated: “Lottomatica is a prominent player in the Italian marketplace, and this agreement shows the attractiveness and advantages of Vermantias gaming content and retail solutions for the market.”
In the meantime, Vermantia has reached an agreement with Juancito Sport, a lottery operator based in the Dominican Republic, to introduce its collection of virtual gaming content.
Juancito will gain access to Vermantia Connect and a selection of over twelve virtual games, which will be made available through the operator’s retail network.
The initial launch includes “Horse Racing Roulette,” a custom-made virtual game created by Vermantia in collaboration with Kiron Interactive.
The new service will be provided as a fully integrated end-to-end solution through Soll Systems’ central platform.
Juancito’s General Manager, Richard de los Santos, remarked: “Our decision was based on their proven capacity to deliver top-quality and diverse virtual gaming content, as well as their in-depth understanding of the requirements of players in our local market.”
